Orangery in the Summer

The courtyard conveniently adjoins the beautiful orangery - conservatory, another perfect choice for taking your vows, comfortably seating up to 70 guests for an indoor ceremony.

The Conservatory has beautiful glass dome roof windows, creating a tranquil environment with lots of natural daylight, allowing the light to flood onto the natural stone walls. The flooring is a bespoke flagstone tile and the airy room comes complete with its own under floor glass fresh water well believed to date back to Roman times.

Weddings over 70 are housed by releasing the French doors which open directly onto the courtyard to give that alfresco feel.

Orangery in the winter

With its beautiful glass roof and natural stone walls the light is wonderful on an autumn, winter or spring day, creating a tranquil environment with lots of natural daylight flooding in.

As the days grow shorter and dusk arrives earlier, the conservatory comes into its own and offers the opportunity for a festival of light, provided by church candles and tea lights nestling within the decorative features of slate windowsills and wrought iron chandeliers. Adding an understated elegance and backdrop for your ceremony
