There can be no other country than Italy that offers such intrigue and diversity with their wines as does Italy. Wine production stretching from top to bottom with all conceivable styles and options covered.

In addition to great wine, Italy has a most enviable reputation for producing some of the world’s greatest foods … it is therefore no surprise that more than any other country, their wines are in general, so very compatible with their unique culinary interpretations.

Following a brief introduction into ‘The Wines of Italy’, I will endeavour to enlighten and de-mystify the often misunderstood complexities of Italy’s well stocked cellar. Before supper we shall enjoy a comprehensive selection of slightly obscure wines which will be followed by a further flight of wines especially selected to compliment the delicious authentic Italian meal created by head chef Mike Palmer.
