We stayed at the hotel in February and I would just like to thank everybody for the high standard of service that we received. Every member of staff that we came in contact with was professional, friendly and very kind. This includes reception, domestic, bar and catering staff.The room was lovely and spacious with everything we needed.Thank you again for making our stay so easy

Just wanted to say that we very much enjoyed our lunchtime experience in Browns, on 13th February, so thank you to the chefs who were on duty that day (delicious lunch, so good we found room for all 3 courses) and also thanks to Lynn and Joseph who looked after us so well.

Browns was a haven of enjoyment and leisure on a cold Saturday! We hope to come back and sample the delights again

Thank you so much to you and your team, what a great group of staff, every single one of them looked after us so well over the whole weekend. The meal on Friday night was excellent, and I know our friends who arrived late enjoyed their bar snack too. On Saturday, the restaurant looked fabulous and everything seemed to work perfectly for the whole evening. Everyone commented on how wonderful the food was, and what a super venue it was for my party, so please say thank you to the kitchen team, who I didn’t meet. Without exception everyone had a fantastic time. Please say a special thank you to Steven for us. He was great, keeping everything flowing so well.

Many. many thanks, to all of you. I had a really special time.

We stayed at your hotel over last weekend to celebrate at Mrs Scrivener's birthday party and felt that we had to drop you a note to congratulate you on your quite exceptional staff. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, absolutely nothing was too much trouble and we were always greeted with the friendliest and most pleasant people throughout the hotel. We hope very much to be able to return at some point in the future but, in the meantime, thank you to everyone for making our stay such a memorable one. We had a most enjoyable stay. We found the staff to be most helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent. We had only booked for one night and were so impressed that we booked ourselves in for a second night. You made sure there was every facility to make our stay comfortable. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend Browns and wish to thank all the staff for making our stay a pleasant one.

These are our most spacious rooms in the house, they are equipped with all of the facilities of the standard rooms, however they offer Queen Size beds in addition to a desk area, writing table, coffee table, arm chair and a comfortable sofa for relaxing...

Superior Mews Room

With natural stone walls, exposed wooden roof timbers, Victorian slate windowsills, and views out over our private courtyard, these double rooms blend traditional charm with a calm and quiet touch of contemporary style.

Four Poster Room

This spacious, romantic room features a sumptuous king-sized four poster bed with antique oak end.

Executive Room

The Executive Room is one of the finest rooms here at Browns Hotel.

Superior Family Room

The superior family room comprises of a main spacious bedroom with a Queen size luxury double bed and a spacious triple wardrobe.

Standard Family Room

The Standard Family room provides comfortable sleeping for 2 adults and 2 children.

Standard Double Room

Stylish, well-appointed, elegantly finished rooms, with double bed, dressing table/writing desk, coffee table, armchair and all the usual Browns Hotel refinements.

Standard Small Double Room

A snug bedroom on the front of the house with lovely petite bedrooms. All with a natural chic style, they are tastefully decorated and finished to a high standard.

Standard Twin Room

Tastefully designed, well-appointed rooms finished in soft neutral tones, with two single beds.

Superior Single Room

These are our more spacious single rooms, they are equipped with all of the facilities of the standard single rooms, however have a standard double 4ft x 6ft bed.

Standard Single Room

This small standard room will suit most budgets, tastefully decorated in natural tones with matching soft furnishings and finished to a high standard.
